OOOk. I know I need to learn/play with/use the manual mode on my Nikon. Im sure playing with the ISO, White, ect. . . could help this issue. I am just wondering, would a UV filter or Polarizer filter help with the hazy backround in these two. I also know I should have shot the first one without the sign in it!!

Any other CC is thanked!!!

I really like the last one. With the first one you can always crop out the sign, right? The first two kinda look more snapshotish to my eye. Nothing wrong with them, just not very interesting. Your mileage may vary.

A UV filter will do nothing; your camera already has UV filteration built in to the sensor array. A polarizer will have some effect, but it's greatest benefit is realized when the sun is low in the sky and you're shooting with the lens axis at or near 90 degrees to the sun. The only practical way to improve the sky and haze issues here is to shoot at a different time of day.
