So 14th November is celebrated as children's day in India.. I went out early morning with a few of my friends to play cricket, but ended up playing soccer with these kids who were students of the Indian Idol(Indian version of The American Idol) academy and came out to celebrate the children's day. One of the girls kept telling me that I looked older than I was! Spoiled brat!! Just kidding, she was very nice!
These kids were extraordinarily well behaved and funny, I think I'll get them a print as well.
They invited me to play with them and soon their teacher showed up and insisted I play a round with them. All these kids are either singers or actors in training, and the teacher is an engineer from one of the most reputed colleges in India (IITs) and apparently had a change of heart later on in his career. He had a very calm, peaceful aura about him. Doesn't play too bad for a 45 year old by any means
Anyways, after a while I took a break and went trigger happy with my camera, also tested my 70-300 for sports. Really happy with how some of these turned out, so felt like sharing with you guys. if nothing it would make one smile!
#1. Pocket Dynamite prepares for kick off, she was such a cool girl!
#2. Team walks in..
#3. Let the game begin!
#4. Showing some brotherly love after the match
And my favorite photograph of them all:
Soon afterwards they all left, and I was called back for my cricket session.. Thanks to one of my roomies(last two shots), I had a few decent shots from those to share as well..
#Bowler running in:
#Batsman taking guard:
#Hitting it over mid wicket
Well that's it!!
