Got these on Xmas day

Was my first trip to a cemetery for photo taking and must admit it was pretty cool. Lots of great shapes, shadows, moods and no-one walking through your shots (that you can see on a jpeg anyway) :twisted:

The first one seems a little soft but it could just be my monitor. But the second one.... WOW. I really like it.

Reminds me of my Fav film of all time. The Good The Bad And The Ugly. can almost see Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach & Lee Van Cleef in the stand off.

Those are really nice shots, luckydog!

I love the composition in the first one. did you put birdseed on the gravestone or is it a stuffed bird .

The second one is fab! What camera did you used and what where the settings (if you remember)? I love this shot. The white bits of grass look really well with black iron fence.

For Vonnagy, i have an Olympus C730 (3.2 MP). The settings were....

ISO 100
F2.8
1/125 sec
Tripod
Cir-Polariser filter
Light setting on camera: Cloudy

Luckydog's tip of the day.

I almost always use the "cloudy" setting as it seems to saturate the colours and make them more eyecatching.
