CFL bulbs

For those of you who use continuous lighting (CFL bulbs), what do you use and where do you buy?

I've been buying 23w CFLs (100w equivalent), but I'm not getting what I want and I'm looking at getting some 85w (425w equivalent) bulbs. Everything I get is 5500k.

I have only been able to find them online, however. None of my local hardware stores carry them. And the best price I can find online is $30 a bulb. I was wondering if anyone knows of a cheap reliable place to buy bulbs online. And if I should be looking at something else.

If you're planning on using them in a softbox or to shoot through an umbella, get stronger ones than 85w. I tried using two on each lightstand to shoot through a white umbrella, and the light wasn't good enough imho.

I don't use continious lights, but I have purchased from Alzo on several items. Give them a call, they are very helpful.

I actually have two silver reflector umbrellas that I use. I'll order some 105w bulbs as well.
