Chamonix & Lake Geneva in B&W

Hi everyone,
Just a couple of shots from my Christmas skiing trip that I felt were keepers. Critique welcome as always.

Taken from a bus/car/moving vehicle I presume?
The first one is underexposed and blurry. The second one... Well, you've got gigantic blurry 'net' in front of the mountains, which are nice.
EDIT: Seeing your previous work, I see you're no amateur so I guess you see something 'arty' in these. I don't, but that's just old unarty me.

I prefer the second shot as well. The first scene was so far away that I had to use a telephoto lens and since I wasn't using a tripod it did come out quite blurry yes. I really wish I could go back there with a little more time and a tripod! In terms of underexposure I do like to have dominant blacks, which I think is a love it or hate it thing (or my monitor is calibrated completely wrong and all my shots look ridiculously underexposed to everyone else!)

PS: I'm most definitely an amateur considering I'm still in high school so you're thinking that I'm no amateur means a lot! Thanks
