Charlie Daniels Band

I got the opportunity to shoot a Charlie Daniels Band show last night. I was busy with other work at the event but I did get about a 30 min. window to grab some shots. I dont have much in the way of low-light gear. These were all shot on my Nikon 105mm. Just crops, no editing or noise reduction.

Very sharp and clear. Is this the 105VR macro lens? Which camera body? High ISO >1600?

Ya, 105 macro on D300s. ISO 1000-1250.

I certainly wouldnt purchase this lens for concert/event photography. Its a bit slow and isnt the greatest light collector. Not to mention its effectively a 155mm on my DX body. Too much tele.

Im anxiously awaiting the release of Nikons new 35 1.4 for this type of stuff. :yummy:
