Somewhere on their web site Canon ought to have some kind of a list of compatible lenses for their different cameras.

Depends which lenses you invested in for it. If you're going for a FF DSLR they all use the EF lenses. The 850D can use either EFS-S (specific to crop) or EF lenses. I recently upgraded to FF and am slowly replacing my lenses, I have a combination of EF and EF-S lenses.

Bottom line answer: You cannot use Canon EF-S lenses on a Canon full frame camera. All other EF lenses will work on a full frame camera.
