I paid $3.64 yesterday when I was visiting my sister..

And as I've said before, I wouldn't mind paying $7.00 a gallon if

a) The tax money (like in the UK or so) was going to good places, and the profits were being taxed properly and redistributed, instead of to the CEOs of these integrated oil companies. Record breaking profits almost every quarter for the last 3 years is starting to wear thin, when our country has nothing to show for it.

b) I didn't have a 60+ mile (100+ kilometer) commute. I live in the sticks, and it used to be cost effective with lower rent. Now its the opposite.

Just filled up @ $1.30 per litre and speculation has it that it will be $2.00 by the end of the year. And oh yes....This pisses me off BIG time!!!! Viva la revolution!

$1.49 this morning, east side of Atlanta. Why couldn't they have done this years ago.

Highest I saw was $4.69 awhile back when prices were at their peak (for this time).

Why do we buy their oil and give them wheat? Should have been $70 a barrell / $70 a bushel, all along.
