I don't know if it's just me, but I'm seeing a whole bunch of noise in that b&w photo. Something else in there isn't doing it for me too, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

I agree with the comments above...the only thing I could think of is, I know your trying to work on B&W but this would just be a beautiful picture in nice saturated color.

On the plus side, it's superbly composed, with wonderful line and shape. You've a good eye.
