Cherry blossoms and The Wall

#1 is too dark in my opinion.

I love the concept in #2, but the legs in the reflections don't work for me.
They don't seem to fit or convey a sense of respect or loss.

I suppose there is a sense of discord between the flower and the perceived lack of acknowledgement conveyed by the legs in the reflection ...
Just not enough. Of course that may not have been your intent. I'm just searching for meaning. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing I will leave up to you.

Technically, the shot is excellent. The sharpness of the letters is perfect.
Maybe I'm just looking for my own message so I can't see your vision.

Oh well. Enough rambling.

I knew #1 was too dark but still liked the shot, haven't tried to lighten it more so I'll give that a go.

#2 I totally agree on, this was taken at peak tourist hours during the cherry blossom festival and there were no peaceful scenes to be had unfortunately. I'd really like to revisit this shot with a different reflection.
