Photos NOT OK to edit
Today was overcast, but without rain. This can be good for cherry blossoms, so I headed out with the setup. The GF3 is a Micro 4/3 sensor camera, so this Yongnuo 42.5mm lens has the equivalent view of an 85mm lens on a "Full Frame" camera. The statue in the last image is fairly recent. I have photographed it before, but I don't remember uploading an image of it. She is "Lesya Ukrainka" and the base of the statue calls her "The Greatest Ukrainian Poetess".

Love cherry blossoms! Great photos that lens seems to produce some rather good and interesting rendering on the M43 sensor.

I went back yesterday, but that was the "wrong" day. I should have been back, maybe a couple of days after that first visit. I might have caught some of the petals dropping. Instead, I got mainly bare trees. From the start of the blooms to the end is about a couple of weeks. As a guess, I think I should have started going down around Apr 21 and I might have caught the start of it all. Maybe next year?

I have uploaded a video recording that I made with the same GF3 body, but using the Lumix 14-42 F3.5-5.6 zoom lens:

"250509 Toronto High Park Cherry Blossoms - Lumix GF3"
YouTube""

I set the exposure a bit low in order to protect color saturation. In retrospect, this was a mistake, but not a horrible one.
