i just checked out that sigma. it seems like a pretty sweet lens. But that f/2.8 is just sooo damn sexy to me. plus im going to be doing alot of real estate shots for a friend so for indoor shots the 2.8 would probably help me out quite a bit. THATS IT!! i just got my justification why the money is gone.. its her friend im doing this for anyways!!

but two things - I called the Hancock building last time I went and they said you couldn't take a tripod to the John Hancock.

And do you mean they actually turned out the light for you? How did you make that happen? Or am I understanding that wrong?
