Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
One of my favourite things to shoot are the birds but after time I'm finding I'm getting a lot of the same(ish) shots so today while editing I threw caution to the wind and converted this one to black and white, I was quite pleased with the results, it reminds me of a Christmas/greeting card :)
Would love to hear your thoughts, thanks for taking a look!

fooled again. I just KNEW you had done a selfie or gotten the girl to pose again for you.

Oh my, that shot conveys mood! Nice going Judi! A minor nit might be to very subtly lighten the head cap and maybe zoom in to 20x and clone in a small, small rectangle of pixels as an enhanced eye catchlight. SInce you are the "Pixel" Rabbit, such pixel-placing might feel very natural.

What's cool is the blowing tiny snowflakes and the downy body feathers all ruffled in the wind! While you're in there faking that eye catchlight, I would also clone out that little bit of twig in the crotch of the "Y", and also the 1/2 inch tip of it sticking up on the perch branch.

Still, the basic black-capped chickadee on branch in cold Ontario weather vibe is strong! Happy New Year to you and the family! You're my favorite Canadian! (Well, right behind McNaughton's...)

Ha! Sorry to disappoint ;)
I'm generally not a fan of BW for nature shots, but this is very nice.
Thanks Brian :) I agree, rarely do I see an animal shot in black and white that I like, I was frustrated with the colours in this one but loved the separation between the wee bird and the background which happens to be something I always look for with my b&w candidates, I was pleasantly surprised to see how this converted!
It is very nice and my thoughts before reading yours was Christmas card.
Thanks Jaca :) Yay!

Thanks Derrel lol Happy New Years to you and yours also!

Great suggestions, I was wishing the catchlight was a bit more prominent, didn't even think of cheating a little ;) lol! Good thoughts on the twigs too, I will play next time I'm editing :)
