I don't think it ruins it at all. It looks a damn site better than a similar image with a giant bird feeder in the image which is often seen, and praised as artistic, on another site I frequent.

I agree that the red is a distraction but it's an easy fix. It's a tad central for my liking but the detail looks fine on my tablet.

I also agree with @LightSpeed666 on the point about feeders.

I view things differently and can take a picture as it is and not be distracted by the little things as much as others or not at all.
It's different and a little interesting with the red thread. I like it.
