Choose between nikon or canon...help please!

For photo of family, activity, etc... I don't Know which one is better... Nikon d3200, canon rebel t4i or Samsung dx1000... CAN you help me please...? Thanks a lot!

Hello,

I recently bought the Nikon d3200 and I'm very happy with it. I did not really consider the Canon line, but only because I've used some other Nikon products that I'm very happy with.

I'm sure the Canon would be a fine choice as well.

For me the final choice came down to two cameras - the d3200 and the d5100. Most folks here seem to recommend the d5100 over the d3200 so you may want to also consider that model.

I'm not sure what the differences are, in the Nikon and Canon you mention, but there are two things I wish the d3200 had- bracketing and a depth of field preview button. I really am happy with the d3200 though.

I would go to a Camera shop and see which one feels better in your hand. That being said, I don't know the specs of those specific cameras. Do a google search on them. I like to do this vs that searches. Snapsort (I think) is usually pretty detailed.
