Christmas card, tips please!!

Hi,

I was trying to make my Christmas card for this year, but I'm not completely happy with the result. I got the feeling, something is missing... So please, tell me what you think about it or what you would change

Looks good you just need to add some more Christmassy to your background. Maybe snowflakes, Christmas balls etc.

absolutely the second.

I personally wouldn't be afraid to go larger on the "bokeh" snowflakes, and I wouldn't make it so obviously that I was painting around the subjects and allow some to come in front of the two kids.

I think it needs a border. A simple thin solid color, or a christmas theme, maybe even just a light vignette. Something to close up the frame.

While you're at it, do something about the boy's white knuckles.
