Beautiful! The stone and wooden doors outside are very appealing. Love all that texture. Gorgeous interior!

There's a grim story with it. The Presidio where this church was located was taken over by a group of Texans under Col Fannin after which they were caught in the open by Santa Anna and ultimately surrendered. The men were all packed into that church for a few days after which they were taken out in three groups and shot. The Goliad Massacre was as big a rallying point as the Alamo during the remaining battles.

Nicely done. I saw it during the summer between the sixth and seventh grades (in the previous century.) Nice to be reminded.
