Cigar Smokers?

Anyone smoke cigars? Im a huge collector and smoker. I have been smoking for over 15 years and collecting for over 10 years. Anyone Else?

I have some but mostly cigarettes. It's not a pretty picture and I don't deny anyone the right. But as with most things in life there are consequences. I would only ask you really think it through. The truth is not always what you want it to be.

I'm a fan of a stick every now and again. Over the holiday weekend I was able to wrap my lips around a couple... one of them being a nicely aged Behike 52. I used to have a 45 bottle wine fridge I converted into a humidor, but now I pared it down to just those sticks that originated from about 90 miles south of Florida. I'm down to 60 sticks or so.

When I smoked cigars I got the "evil eye" many times.

Personally, I like to catch the aroma of a cigar or decent pipe tobacco while in a public place. Our State Fair has now banned smoking of all types, in addition to a statewide ban in restaurants and public buildings. I don't know about public parks, but probably there as well. Next will be highway rest areas and your own front yard.

It is very odd how many people are against smoking tobacco, but seem to think that smoking weed should be o.k.

Remember this: To a cigar smoker, cigarette smoke smells like a trash fire. Which it mostly is.

I've tried some but normally I get sick and have to lay down. That said a really good smelling tobacco is something I enjoy in small doses..

If you try a cigar again I would recommend trying a very mild cigar first on a stomach. A natural, very light in color

I just orders some fine Cuban tobacco, should be here in a week or so. I need to stock up for the upcoming events .

My favorites are Padrons. I prefer cigars from Nicaragua. I've always thought Cubans are over-rated

Cuban sticks are what they are. Are they the Gold Standard for cigars? Absolutely not. Are they worth ridiculous amounts of money? Absolutely not. My average for Cuban sticks is about $6/stogie. What they do have is a great mild smoke with a flavor profile that is absolutely unique to that island.

I like the milder sticks, (although a Cohiba Maduro 5 Secretos really hits the spot every now and again) and I am a big fan of that flavor profile.

There are better cigars, if your opinion and preferred flavor profile say there are.

Cigars were one of my weaknesses in the past, and today the smell of someone lighting up still drives me crazy with longing. Unfortunately, respiratory issues have made breathing more important. If only I could figure out a way to get by without breathing.
