cleaning sensor

ive got dust/dirt on my cameras sensor, what is the best way to clean it?

Ive heared you are not meant to use compressed air as this leaves a greasy residue and can freeze the sensor, is this true?

That's right....don't use that canned air. It does have something in there that can get sticky.

Also, you might just be pushing the dust into other places inside the camera.

What I use, is a bulb blower. Turn the camera front down, set it on clean mode and just puff the dust off of the sensor.

If the dust is stuck on there...then you need sensor cleaning pads (or similar). It's a fairly involved process but seems pretty easy.

I've tried a bulb blower but it doesnt seem to have the power to get the dirt off. Looks like i might have to get some cleaning pads and learn who to use them
