So i got a question or 3, why arnt you supposed to use compressed air on a sensor? Is it the gas in the aerosol that does something? Or is the air stream to powerful?

Would anyone here ever consider using this on there sensor for stubborn dust that wont dislodge with a squeeze blower?

"Compressed air" isn't recommended since it's usually not filtered. Debris will be forced right into the sensor. It doesn't contain any propellant other than pressure.

"Canned air" typically has an propellant that may not play well with a sensor.

My take: This device is just a gimmick... a solution in search of a problem. If a Rocket Blower won't remove the dust, I resort to a wet cleaning.
