It is an interesting shot. My initial reaction was that I would have liked to have seen more of the tree, but that is just me. If you like it, then that is really all that matters.

I like the image however it needs to have more of the tree to tell the story

Not a bad shot - nice shadows. I'm not missing the rest of the tree. I know it's there and the ladder's purpose is evident. What bothers me is that one foot of the ladder is cut off.
