I like macro but I should not. I am allergic to their sting.
And then body issues I find it hard to get into some positions.
But when you get good results I find it is worth all the hurt.

I like the first and third shots especially. These have a very interesting "feel" to them, and even though the third shot has some motion blurring, it really effectively communicates the feeling of movement of a bee out and working. It's my favorite of the four, despite what some might call a technical issue, I think of it as a creative "win", the slight motion blur conveys that sense of bee-hyper-activity, that speed, that high-revving bee energy. We see a lot of bee photos on TPF, but these are actually better than the majority of them.

Great set! Most bees won't bother you unless they are threatened, which usually means physical contact is made, ironically your screen names namesake (wasps) are flying a$$holes and you should be wary of them.

Your photos are indeed worth it.

Most wasps are far more curious of what you are and this is why we are far more scared of them as they have got a sting which hurt far more than a bee. But will leave you alone after a while. Bee's are good and what you said is true and I am proof of it.
