Little campground type place nearby. Originally shot these for the golden hour type light but ended up B&W because they just set the mood better.

The first photo really brings me back to my childhood. That looks almost exactly like one of the cabins my grandparents had on their property in Skowhegan. They would rent out cabins to hunters during hunting season, as well as snowmobilers. I spent a lot of time there, ATV riding, swimming, and learning to shoot guns.

Sadly, the state seized their property via imminent domain. The state destroyed their house, and everything on the property for a "scenic overlook." Now all of the memories are in my head, and there's nothing tangible for me to go back to.
