Coins Photography - Request for feedback

Hi There,

Just started learning photography, and the below snaps are my experiment on coins today at home. Please provide your comments/suggestions to improve my skills.

They are under exposed. If your going shoot with a white background make sure to cover the whole background in white.

I also think that you should loose the borders.

Took another snap this afternoon !! any improvement from my earlier picture(underexposed) ??

Backlight the coins for more detail and use a white paper for front fill
