Hey folks, I am hoping you can help me.

I am trying to determine if I will need the Cokin P series wide angle adapter. The two lenses that I am most worried about are my 24mm 52 diameter Pentax prime, and my Canon 28-105mm 58 diameter zoom. I have searched a bunch of sites on the net, and while people mention using the wide angle adapter for the 17-20mm range, I have yet to see what is considered the lowest maximum focal length one can go with the standard 3 slot holder before you start getting vignetting.

In my experinece 28mm is fine and I start to see vignetting with 24mm (on pentax m42 screw mount prime lenses) with the 3 slot holder. I did not go lower than 24mm though. According to Cokin website, 28mm is the minimum focal lentgh for the 3 slot holder and 20mm is the minimum for the one slot holder. Hope that helps.

Man your good.....I guess I completely missed this on their site. Thanks many!
