Cold Bridge

There is a footbridge that I like to visit at my local state park that crosses the river at the base of a dammed lake. I decided to go over there this weekend when the temperature dropped to sub-20 and try out my new L-bracket. Safe to say I didn't stay out too long as my hands went numb after about a half an hour but these were my two favorites.

Nice conversion. I like the textures. I also like the leading lines, but they don't really lead to anything.
Looking at this, I feel like I want more bridge - or more subject.
For example, I'd like to have seen more on top of number 2. It feels too cut off to me.
Nice technique, but needs work on composition.

Thanks Designer, the sun was putting interesting shadows on that framing which I thought was pretty awesome too.
