Fox Paw, the slight halo appearance must be just a result of the way the freezing mist/fog was being lightly wind blown and burnt off by the early morning sun. Other than some unsharp mask and a wee bump in contrast and noise reduction(this should answer Ernie's question as well) there was nothing else done to this image besides the crop.
