Color or Black & White

I posted this in the landscape forum but now I converted to B&W and I kind of like the B&W version better. What do you think?

If the fence were at an opposing angle it would distract from the image of the house, but you did a good job keeping it the same angle as the stone fence. Is the horizon correct?...maybe, since the verticals on the corners of the house seem ok. Just looks awkward. Nice B&W tones.

Jim, thanks for the comments. Yes the horizon is correct, I know it's tough to tell because the ground around the house is a hill and there's not much else to reference.

I love black and white, and I love how the stonewall and fence parallel each other, but because of that, it takes a second to discern what they are. I can't seem to find your colored picture. Would you be able to post that in this thread for comparison? Thanks. Oh, and I love the shot! :razz:

Either version works. I am more partial to the B&W though. I also think the fence isnt distracting I personally think it adds to the photo. well done

I prefer this mono version and the fence adds something extra to the picture as well.
