Colors, bugs, and old dead trees! (Criticize bitte.)

Old tree in a field that later fell over... so I guess we got there just in time.

I believe I shot these with the D3K, and the 18-55mm.

The one you used for your avatar is pretty good! The only things that bother me a little about that shot are that there isn't a lot of space behind the bug (feels cramped), and the two yellow-coloured pieces of tall grass (I think) right in front of the bug's face are a bit distracting. I like it though!

What I gather, is I need to back it out a few mill and get some breathing room around my subject.

I will remember this during my next shoot.
