Sorry I'm new to this

Let's try this... Pick out ONE image that you really like or think is your best work, post that ONE, tell us why you think it's really good and what you did to make it, and ask for critique. If the image is really bad, you'll get a lot of comments, and perhaps a few suggestions to reread your manual. If your image is really good, you'll get a few comments, but less than if it is really bad. You want to look carefully at the ones from posters who know what they are talking about (if you don't know who they are, lurk and get a feeling about who gives hard but honest advice, and who is full of BS or fluff). If you get no comments after several days, then most likely the image is decent, but not particularly remarkable.


The other question is what is your motivation for asking for comments? Pats on the back are given, but they need to be earned. If you are genuinely interested in improving, then there are lots of very good photographers who can help you - but you have to enter into a conversation with them, show them where you are now, and where you would like to go.
