Coming or going? comments and critique please

As individual images IMO the second is the better, I prefer to see the faces of people rather than the backs of their heads (unless the context calls for it).

After seeing these two images together in the post, I would love to see the same pair, with exactly the same crop and the second one mirrored to form a diptych.
To me this would give a lot more interest and a real meaning to a title "coming or going" - Just a thought...

You can be sure that I waited to try and catch both these moments in one shot. Coming AND going. I am thinking that I might have to head back tomorrow and try again. Thank you for the advice, I will have a play with that idea.

Unfortunately I didn't use a tripod so had slightly different aspect. Cool idea though. I am sure there is some way to make them fit but photoshop isn't really my thing, prefer to keep it in camera

That worked pretty well, it may be worth having another go with some new shots with this end result in mind.
