Here is my very 1st attempt at composite photography. I shoot 35mm, with a 50mm lens and only the background and one shot of the girl came out(I took at least 7!)
I know the composition isnt the best but we were at a family cook out and I just thought we'd try it. C&C welcome.

Nice work on the color balance. I don't see any fringing.

However, the shadow isn't even close. Needs to be feathered quite a bit more, and positioned to match the ambient light.

Are you just playing around here, or is there a specific purpose for this composite?

Just kinda playing around, but I'd like to get good at it to pull off some good levitation photographs. Tips on how to feather the shadow more?
