How is the composition of this photo?

I took this handheld at ISO400, f7.1, 1/20 with IS. I am going to go purchase a tripod and will probably go back to this place and take it again to see the difference it makes.

Nice composition. By focusing on the primitive stone stairway, the eye is drawn upwards to the slender trees. The fallen leaves on the stairway and the golden color of the trees make this a beautiful autumn portrait.
