concert shooting

Well i am getting tossed into the fire first instead of the frying pan!! I am going to shoot my first concert at a high school. I have a canon 60D i want to rent a lens to shoot, but not sure what to rent . I will be a bit close i hope so any help would be great. thank you

If you're going to be close to the stage, the 16-35 f2.8 would be a good choice.
