OFFERS 3.6X ZOOM

Now why do the zsooms differ between the two lenses, if they are the same size?

One is 55-300mm and the other is 55-200mm.

The "X" in a zoom is only the difference between the lowest and highest focal lengths in the zoom range. For example: a 20-60mm lens, and a 200-600mm lens are both "3X" even though the later has far more range on the long end.

Interestingly, a bigger "X" usually means worse the image quality.
