Constantly being logged out of the forum

Sometimes every 30-60 seconds. Have had this for a few days.

OK, well if so, it's occuring only with this website. I'm not being logged-out of others in the same way.

Opera. I prefer Chrome but I find it a slow browser with also some audio problems. At the moment I'm not getting booted. This was the case for a couple of hours yesterday i seem to recall...seems to be happening at certain times of day for me. Thanks for the help.

I use Chrome. No problems here.

No one else has reported the same issue so far.

If it's single user.. 99.99998 % of the time its PC related

I've been browsing the forum with Opera for about 15 minutes, and have had no problems, nor any with Safari, Chrome or Camino; Mac OS-X 10.8

It happens to me, but only on my PC. Very annoying. It doesn't happen with Mac OS or iOS.

I have my work browser set to delete everything each time I close the window. This does delete the required cookies for staying logged in.

Has it ever logged you out while using it or is it after you browse away from the site?

Always when remaining onsite. Today, it had occurred only once, shortly after logging-in. OK at the moment though.

I get logged out while I am typing a reply. Anything longer than two sentences has to be composed first then pasted in.

Helen, that shouldn't be happening - this used to be a problem in prior versions but, if anything, the AutoSave feature in vB is better than ever. I was still experiencing some periodic wobbly issues on Chrome, but am now using Firefox when I log in here and it's been flawless. The AutoSave should be something you see popping up every several seconds when a post window is open.

Panblue, if you happen to be online while at work, more often than not work servers are to blame as they can fluctuate so often. If you're at home, you've cleared out your cache and aren't on IE (the worst) I don't have much else to suggest. Keep trying!
