Photos NOT OK to edit
I found this shot one evening, but needed to go back the next morning to get the right light. Glad I did. The darker strip of wall is actually the same color as the rest, but sits back in an alcove with a door at the bottom. The color difference is all in the shadows.

As always, comments welcome.

Nice. This is one of those "well seen" deals. It's basically an abstract and that's fine. It's a pretty good abstract. I might consider dodging the top of the frame a bit. There's a shadow or vignette up there that's making the frame feel a little top-heavy.

yes, agree with this ^^^ completely

As far as cropping the top down, yeah, probably. I used to do a final crop on everything and save, but then realized if I wanted to print in a different ratio, I often didn't have the room to make it right. So I've started saving largely uncropped and then crop when I print (if I print). Just didn't want to lose the extra space if it wasn't absolutely critical for the image. That's my train of thought anyway, but that train has been known to be derailed at times.

BAM. That's wonderful. I wouldn't crop that a bit, it's great tall and skinny.
