Recently I have had a client request i convert the metadata of their images into a EAN code or bar code. Does anyone know how to go about doing this? My best guess would be to download a bar code generator and enter in each images metadata individually. Is there a better way??

any help would be appreciated

With a EAN code you probably cant, but maybe a Qr code:
QR code - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

No idea about how to copy n paste the metadata into one tho... I got an app on my iphone that converts data into one, but metadata is kind of formatted, im guessing it can be done, but no idea how, sorry im no expert, just throwing out a tip.

Edit:
Just a quote: "A standard QR code can contain up to 7089 characters, though not all QR readers can accept that much data."

Also:
Initially developed, patented and owned by Toyota subsidiary Denso Wave for car parts management; now public domain. Can encode Japanese Kanji and Kana characters, music, images, URLs, emails. De facto standard for Japanese cell phones. Also used with BlackBerry Messenger to pickup contacts rather than using a PIN code. These codes are also used frequently for Android OS phones. -- International Standard : ISO/IEC 18004
