Cool looking flower....c&c at your will

This is a flower that I got in a bouquet for my wife a few weeks ago. I took this with a Sigma 70-300 using the macro feature. I still haven't got the hang of taking close ups.

I believe that's a lavender spider mum (I've been taking shots of one recently).

Well, I suggest you wait until there is daylight, then you place the vase on the window sill, and retake this one with the light from outside, leaving off the pop-up flash. It throws unfavourable shadows which really don't do flower pics any good.
