I have been struggling with this lens, enough to think there may be a problem affecting sharpness. Though I make it harder on myself with b.i.f. because I like the shutter slow enough for wing blur.

Nice pic! My Tamron 150-600 seems to struggle with focusing on moving subjects also. I wonder if the sport lens is that much better?
