    It was an interesting place.
    The great egrets and cormorants were nesting in the same trees, and along the shore there were night herons nesting in pine trees.
    It was my first time to this rookery as it's 180 miles from home.
    I had heard about it from some other photographers, and on my way home from a trip I was driving by it.
    Light was bad, but the birds were fairly active.

    Great pics, love them all but I would've liked the one shot better if you'd climbed up in the tree to get past the branches for the shot.

    Ha! I'm joking but it's more or a dig on overly picky critics.
