Yeah that is out of focus, i was using the stock lens. Just bought new zoom lens....gonna try that. Thanks

dont discount the usefulness of a kit lens
maybe the shutter speed wasnt fast enough?
some of the kit lenses can ver very sharp and quite nice. i've always been very happy with my 18-55 and 18-70. :thumbup:

keep in mind that zooming in wont make the photo any sharper, in fact, it will require a faster shutter speed.
