Couple from yesterdays walk

Took a walk through a local state park with my daughter and brought the D500 and 200-500. First time I've been able to go out for a photo walk in a while. There wasn't much out, but I managed to find a couple subjects.

Not sure on the species, but this bird posed nicely for me.

I also spent more time than I care to admit trying to capture a dragonfly in flight. After about 100 frames I finally got one. IQ's not that great because of the heavy crop and probably some motion blur, but it was a fun challenge.

Also managed to find one sunning itself.

Nice shots! The dragonfly in flight is good! I have been trying to shoot one in flight. It ain't easy.
