Ran across this little gem in a parade this past weekend. I've already contacted the customs place that created it, they'll be using the images in their newsletter or something. Who knows, this might lead to, as majority of their pictures of their cars are with a point and shoot.

C&C per req:

1. A little too low a shooting position and a little too wide an angle. We get a great view of the rim/tire and the fender, but not much else. I think this would be much better shot with long glass from further away, and using a larger aperture to render the background OOF and less distracting.

2. I would crop more tightly to the sides here to eliminate the distracting elements (houses, ladders, etc). As well, did you consider an OCF to get some light into the right side fender/wheel area?

Just my $00.02 worth - your mileage may vary.

Thanks, if I'm shooting with my Siggy 10/20 it's going to be on 10mm only haha. I really enjoy the distortion of the lense and was one of the main reasons for it's purchase.

As for #1, I should have mentioned this before, but I really wanted it to be a lot about the custom rim b/c it was something that is totally different on this vehicle. Every buggy in their crew have small wheels, nothing like a 22" custom car rim on it haha.

For #2, no way I would have been able to set up an OCF, it's in a parade and the things are moving. Are the house and ladders that distracting though? I left them b/c of the parade feel, but also thought the subject being bright yellow and in your face middle would command enough attention. I could be wrong though.

I lied in the title, guess they aren't that interesting lol.
