On the 2nd there was no effect use other than the usual contrast, sharpening ect. The shutter speed was 1000* of a sec. 400 iso shot in sunlight, metered on the algea.
On the third shot I used a polarizing filter, 100 iso and the smallest aperature setting giving it the longest exposure time I could, the area was in shadow which also helped.
