You might be able to get rid the shadow on the roof with moonlight if direction and weather cooperate.

I was really surprised while cranking up the exposure in post, that I could see stars.
There were many clouds out that night, but made some great details.

Here is another shot that night, you can see some cloud detail.. but ISO noise keeps me from really wanting to post them.
