I like it, but I think the moon gets lost in the vastness of the rest of the frame.

Agreed, if the moon is your focal point then it needs to be the main focal point. It gets washed out by the sky. But the sky is a great shot in and of itself

Ok, I'll disagree with the above comments. The moon holds its own very well - catches our eye immediately. Then we see the linear clouds. I like the fact that the earth-shine is visible on the moon, linking the place where we are to what we are seeing. I see this image as a meditation, near and far, changing and unchanging, ephemeral and ancient. Yes. I like the image.
