Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hello!

Let me first say that I am a beginner at photography and I'm trying to work my way up.
Right now I have a Pentax K10D.

Here is my album: Flickr: QuarterHorse8's Photostream

-http://www.flickr.com/photos/71424196@N08/-please ignore the 2nd photo, it was just an example of my camera getting blurry--

I am mainly interested in action shots and detailed pictures. I also have Photoshop CS3.

Also I am going out to the barn tomorrow to take some more pictures.

Do you have any tips on what I should take?
Any good information?
Maybe some ideas?

Thanks you!
-Mary

Better to post a couple of images in your post.

Don't shoot in a small paddock.
Don't cut off legs if you are capturing action.
Stop with the "close up of the eye" shot ... it is over-done and most of the time it does not work.

Very important to get an environment that works/compliments the animal.
Spend more time with the horses in a large field and stake out the best view. Note their habits.

The first is the strongest ... but too much is cropped, especially the nose.
