I'm being brave. I haven't posted pics in a while for C&C. I do want to improve and really develop a style. Lay it on me... the good & the bad. I apologize ahead of time for the watermark.... its a Zenfolio built in thing and I'm too lazy to make my own right now.

I'm viewing these on my iPad so take it with a grain of salt.
none of these appear sharp to me on my iPad.
With that said, I like 1,2&4
i feel like in 3 there is a little too much head room. I also think she is a little too centered.
i have no professional basis on which to judge these of course. This is all just my opinion. I don't typically chime in on this type of photography but, my wife and I just had a little boy and I do plan on attempting a similar type of shoot. Minus the lace and pearls of course. ;)
how old was your model here? You sure seem to have managed to pose her without much trouble. My son is now 3 weeks and a day old and even after a full belly he tends to not want to be out of his mothers or my arms. Lol!
All in all, I like and can appreciate what you have done here.

Love the 1st one, the others seem... I dunno, just not eye catching? Although 4 is ok, maybe just a tiny bit to close? Id be hopeless photograhing babies though so...

1,2,3 all have excellent lighting! In #4, the baby seems to be "riding low"...or there's excessive top space, depending on how you wish to frame it (ouch---bad pun, deliberately intended!). I think these are decent,m really. Lovely, delicate lighting and consistent in 1,2,and 3; #4 appears a bit over-exposed on the highlights. A tiny bit more space below the bottom foot in shot #2 might be okay too. Overall though, nice.

Thanks for the c&c. Its really helpful to hear what other people see. I really appreciate it.

To answer a question, this baby was 1 month old and the best shots came when momma left.... so to Shefjr, get that baby away from mom. As long as he can smell her or hear her or see her, he will want her. You can do a lot more when mom isn't around. However, that said, it took almost 4 hours to complete this shoot because baby had to be changed, fed, rocked...etc all throughout the session.
