Hi, two photos here and specific questions aside from general critique are:

Is this photo to oven glove, (over cooked), by far, please elaborate if your so inclined.


Is there a particular shooting technique best used for this type of shot. I was aiming for close up panning, I was about three feet away, 24 70 lens, any tips appreciated for the same subject type.

In the case of image #1, it really depends on the intent of the image. I think this would be a good advertising image for New Holland, but maybe not such a great scenic image. I don't mind the processing at all. In the second, I think you've done well; the rider is sharp, but there's sufficient motion blur in the wheels and background to impart the desired sense of motion. The only [minor] issue is the cropping of the top of his helmet.
